Dan Jiggetts was a two-time first team All-Ivy offensive tackle. Jiggetts captained Harvard’s first undisputed Ivy League Championship in 1975. Considered one of the finest lineman in the history of the League, he was named to the Ivy’s Silver Anniversary All-Star Team and was inducted into the Harvard Varsity Hall of Fame.

As an All-American player at Harvard University, Jiggetts was drafted in the 1976 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. He played for the Bears from 1976 to 1982,  while holding an off-season position at the First National Bank of Chicago. During his NFL career, he played in 98 games.

Jiggetts was a co-host on “Monsters in the Morning” on CBS 2 Chicago in 2010. He is also a sportscaster for CSN Chicago  and was the co-host of a daily morning show on the station. He has also worked for CBS and ESPN and hosted a highly rated radio show on WSCR  in Chicago. In September 2010, he returned to WFLD-TV to anchor sports on Fridays and Saturdays.

Airing since 2007, the Chicago Huddle is hosted each week by Chicago media icon Jiggetts and features special weekly in-show segments with 2013 Maxim Hot 100 honoree and MTV personality April Rose. Each week the show is taped at Chili’s in Vernon Hills. Chicago Huddle programming airs on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am for seventeen consecutive weeks from September through January and can be seen throughout all of Illinois as well as parts of Iowa and Indiana on Comcast SportsNet.
